IRPAC is a non-profit association founded in the 1990s by Prof. Pierre Bernades—who established French Pancreatology—with the goal of raising funds to carry out scientific research in the fields of pancreatology and digestive oncology.

The Pancreatology Department at Beaujon Hospital is the only one in France entirely dedicated to pancreatic diseases. All types of pancreatic diseases are treated here.
